So many of you wanted to sign up to my 2-day July workshop in Amsterdam that I decided to add a second one, the very next weekend!
It doesn’t matter if you are at the very beginning of your art journey or a seasoned artist - we are going to make beautiful things together!
On Saturday August 3, we’ll focus on flowers, intense hues, and watercolor techniques.
On Sunday August 4, we’ll focus on mushrooms, whimsical characters, and exploring monochrome.
We will be using watercolours, gouache and acryla gouache, exploring and using a variety of techniques. We’ll paint from nature and from within, and learn how to see what’s there and what could be there.
introduction to new media/materials (what they are and how to use them for best results)
how to paint FLOWERS in more than two ways
composition (divide and conquer the page).
new ways to find colours that speak to each other
bleeding vs dry brush
painting from nature vs painting from imagination (flowers in the studio vs. flowers in our heads)
limited palette vs toomuchery
how to get unblocked and become more prolific
scanning, photography, recording, sharing and Q&A
An exquisite lunch, coffee, tea, and snacks will be provided.
A list of recommended supplies will be sent following your registration.
I hope to see you in August!

*CANCELLATION policy
A lot of planning, expenses and time goes into producing the workshops. It’s a long walk up a steep hill at the best of times, and everything is weighed, counted and taken into consideration to make this into the best experience possible. Therefore we do not offer credit, refunds or cancellations. However, you’re welcome to transfer your “workshop place” to a friend to go in your stead.
In case (a very unlikely case) the workshop is canceled - you will be notified immediately and a full refund will follow.
