Come join Helen Dardik on Saturday, July 22nd for a full day of painting in Amsterdam!
We will be using watercolours, gouache and acryla gouache and focusing on a variety of techniques, materials and topics, including:
• introduction to new media/materials (what they are and how to use them for best results)
• how to paint florals in more than two ways
• composition
• new ways to find colours that speak to each other
• bleeding vs dry brush
• painting from nature vs painting from imagination (flowers in the studio vs. flowers in our heads)
• limited palette vs toomuchery
• how to get unblocked and become more prolific
• scanning, photography, recording, sharing and Q&A
It doesn’t matter if you are at the very beginning of your art journey or a seasoned artist - all are welcome!
An exquisite lunch, coffee, tea, and snacks will be provided.

Join Lynn Lee & Helen Dardik on Sunday, July 23rd for a full day of creating a ceramic object and painting it!
This class will offer you a perfect opportunity to learn the art of ceramic-making and create your own unique piece. We will be using clay and glaze to create your own ceramic object and give it a personalized touch with your own painting. All materials will be included; just bring your imagination!
The first half of the class will cover the various stages of clay construction. You will be able to choose the form you want to create, such as a vase, plate, cup, bowl, or small planter.
The surface will be fine-tuned and left in the sun while you take a break for lunch.
An exquisite lunch, coffee, tea, and snacks will be provided.
In the second half of the class, you will paint and decorate your ceramic piece.
After the class, your piece will be fired to 1150 degrees. The finished object will be sent to you via post once it is ready (in two weeks).

A lot of planning, time and expense goes into producing these workshops. It’s a long walk up a steep hill in the best of times and everything is weighed, counted and taken into consideration to make this into the best experience possible. Therefore we do not offer credit, refunds or cancellations. However, you’re welcome to transfer your “workshop place” to a friend to go in your stead.
In case (a very unlikely case) the workshop is canceled - you will be notified immediately and a full refund will follow.
